Services/Application Design

We use the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach to designing applications. First we ask who will be using the application. We need to understand our target audience, just as we would for other design projects. What skills and experience do these users have? What tasks do they need to complete? Our questions will include a process of user task analysis, in order to help us understand the priorities and functions of the task. We recommend a variety of workshops with our clients, such as paper prototyping, which can help us quickly understand the workflow and variables involved with an application. Once a paper prototype is approved, we can design a more finished product. These initial prototypes will be refined as we work through the modification rounds. Finally we will design a completed, tight user interface (UI) based on all of our research and reviews. Users are involved throughout the process especially to meet certain requirements of the project.
