Otero College

Donoughe Design and Otero College teamed up once again to redesign their website. This was the third redesign and we worked with their new team. As with many small colleges, they could not afford an expensive content management system any longer and opted to move to an open-source platform. There were many challenges that we needed to overcome, including finding the right WordPress theme that would accommodate the updated design, finding and customizing plugins for additional functionality such as events, news, social media feeds, calendar and search.

The site design showcases the new identity that we created, interesting and authentic photography, updated site architecture and streamlined content that is more visual in nature. Below are screen shots of the new site as well as studies for the updated Otero sunrise logo.

This was truly a team effort and an enjoyable project for all involved!
