Nicolet College

Nicolet is a public community college serving Northern Wisconsin. The College offers one- and two-year career diplomas and degrees, liberal arts university transfer studies, and a comprehensive continuing education program.

Donoughe Design had the opportunity to work on a quick facelift for their original site. Once completed we embarked on a total redesign, based on a new information architecture and brand identity.

The site uses textures to enhance the brand and create a visually interesting user experience. Using background patterns of linen and hand made paper enhance the feeling of hands-on experiental learning. These patterns also reinforce the inherent natural beauty of Nicolet College campus and their home of Rhinelander. Several unique fonts were used to differentiate the site and give it some additional character.

This site uses OU Campus CMS software by OmniUpdate.

Project Overview

DD completed a quick UI update before the entire site redesign. We worked closely with Nicolet's in house designer to coordinate the new identity for the website and print materials.
